WOW! The season is 1/2 over ALREADY! It seems like it just started. Even though our league is FULL for the 2025 Season. We are keeping a wait-list for 2026 and if you are interested in learning more about our league, please reach out via our CONTACT page. In the meantime, feel free to browse our webpage and if you get a chance to play the course at Groton, please keep the scorecard for reference. It will help with proper placement next year. |

ABOUT US: Our league is a fun, friendly, and competitive golf league for women. We accept players of all abilities who have a basic understanding of the game and have played on a course before. A variety of prizes are awarded at the end-of-the-season banquet.
The course is beautiful. Sunsets are gorgeous from the high point of hole 3, which overlooks Lawrence Academy and church steeples in Groton’s historic, town center. If you are not paying too much attention to your game and take the time to look around, Mt. Wachusett also makes an appearance in the sky-line at some locations.
It is a walk-able course, but the first 4 holes are very hilly. Even though it is situated in a populated area, it can seem like a million miles away, a rural feel, with abundant wildlife. There are frequent sightings of fox, deer, woodchucks, hawks, and even an occasional, black bear.
Rumor has it that the course was once a ski area and that it was purchased by the Wang Corporation to create a golf course for the benefit of employees, customers, and friends. It was sold to the Town of Groton after Wang ceased to exist as a company in the 1980s.
