Welcome to the Groton Country Club Ladies League website! We're glad you visited!
Our league plays on Monday evenings (5:20 pm shotgun start) beginning in late April or early May, going through the end of August. Our format is 9 hole match play, with teams of four or five, each made up of golfers of varying abilities. So, whether you are brand new to golf or someone who's been playing for years, we have a place for you!
The idea behind our league is to have a really good time, enjoy our beautiful course, learn something new and make new friends along the way.
If you have never golfed at Groton Country Club, it is a beautiful, scenic (and hilly) links style course that offers something for everyone. Surrounded by woods, wildlife is abundant and it's not unusual to see turkeys, woodchucks, red tail hawks, fox and even an occasional deer or two. Click here to see the course layout
