May 2, 2026 (NR) - What a difference a week makes!  2 weeks ago we played in winter conditions and last week it was like a summer day which was awesome for our fun little scramble.  Mihoko Hansen, Kathy Mizzoni, Sue Mathisen, and Margaret Staples took first place with a score of 36, which is par-for-the-course!  Congratulations!  They each earned $10 for their efforts!  This week, May 4th, is the first of the 11 competitive matches and the weather is looking great!  Good luck ladies!

April 25, 2026 (NR) - Last week about 1/2 the league braved the cold weather for the official start of our season.  Fortunately, it was not a competitive match day so no make-up scores are required.  Tomorrow, will be a fun little scramble before officially starting MATCH PLAY on May 4th.  The Scramble Rules can be found on the SCRAMBLES page.

April 14, 2026 (NR) - We had a great time at the season opening meeting last week at Ocho Cafe.  Besides the great margaritas, we talked shop about the league, welcomed new players, and played a spicy version of Golf Fued.  Newbie Molly Dufour claimed victory and earned $20 off her membership dues.  Nice job Molly! Please join me in welcoming her and our other new players:  Brittany Smith, Felice Ferreer, Sue O'Brien, Suzanne Pillion and Amy Freyman.  Also, welcome back to Lorae McCall, Lisa Krywucki, and Linda Brattica.  Our season will officially start next Monday, April 20th.  Hopefully we will get the same great weather we are experiencing this week!

April 4, 2026 (NR) - Answers to some FAQ's:  Our league will officially start on April 20th, although not competitively until May 4th.  Please take a look at the SCHEDULE page.  The cost to join our league is $60 for the 2026 season.  Players will also pay for the cost to play golf on each Monday, directly to the Groton CC pro-shop ($22 per 9 holes + $11 cart fee, if desired). These are the prices posted on the Groton CC webpage.
